Multipurpose, 286,000 lb. GRL flat car (FEA) The subject car was a 286,000 lb. gross rail load flat car designed to accept general service loadings, inter-modal container loadings, and rubber tire vehicle loadings. The subject cars were equipped with stowable container locks and deck tie down tracks. The full car was modeled (FEA) and analyzed under AAR M-1001 loadings using finite element techniques. |
