Responsible for developing, executing, and improving the marketing efforts for the various departments of the company. Reports directly to the company President, and interacts directly with various department personnel. Supervises Marketing Department personnel. Directs the establishment of new contacts and clients, provide sales presentations, and maintains existing contacts and clients.
- Be willing to take on new projects and ready to invest time and energy to meet challenges head on.
- Be willing to learn new techniques, etc., and to assist others with the new knowledge in an effort to continually refine and improve marketing approaches and procedures.
- Comply with requirements regarding arrival time at the office, dress code, deportment, meeting deadlines, and assignments. Insure that subordinates also comply.
- Stay apprised of the contents of the SET Employee Handbook, and comply with the SET Employee Handbook. Insure that subordinates stay apprised and also comply.
- Answer telephones, take messages when receptionist is unavailable.
- Make ongoing contact with clients, vendors, suppliers, and others as necessary to promote new and additional business for the company, and to assist with project requirements as necessary.
- Arrange the necessary contacts and travel for appropriate company personnel to undertake to further the marketing effort for the company.
- Develop a Corporate Marketing Plan in coordination with the principles approved by management. Determine what specific markets that will be pursued by the company. Make careful appraisal of the likely market opportunities for the company.
- Pursue and develop all applicable areas of work that are within the company's capabilities. Pursue additional areas of work, in concert with corporate plans, to enable the company to diversify its fields of service and operations.
- Interface with staff from all departments to stay apprised of work in progress. Maintain a continuing relationship with clients during the course of and after the completion of project work.
- Assist with interviews of prospective employees as necessary, provide recommendations for promotion, discipline and termination of subordinates.
- Utilize computerized techniques to estimate, lay out, and execute marketing requirements on a daily basis. Provide reports to Corporate President, and others on status of marketing efforts, costs, and other details as needed. Develop marketing strategies and routines that will enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and completeness of Marketing Department activities.
- Develop Marketing Department goals and comprehensive marketing plans. Assist with development of goals of other departments. Direct the development of lead lists from various sources suitable to the target markets. Assist in research and preparation of sales presentations. Keep abreast of all aspects of the assigned business areas. Direct the preparation and execution of special marketing surveys.
- Work in close coordination with appropriate departmental personnel to develop and deliver pricings and proposals that are accurate and attractive to the clients to whom directed.
- Perform other duties as specified by supervisor.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, with minimum of three years industry or academic experience.
